Request a Portrait
The Texas Fallen Soldiers Project makes available,
at no cost to family members, a hand painted original portrait of their
fallen soldier. Additionally, we offer signed and numbered limited
edition full-size prints for family members who did not receive the
original painting, which are also provided at no cost. Each portrait and print is mounted and framed and of the highest quality.
Portraits may be requested by the primary next of kin
or other family member of a fallen American military serviceman who has
died during active duty in the Afghanistan, Iraq, or previous war. The
primary mission of The Texas Fallen Soldiers Project is to provide
portraits of the fallen soldiers of Texas, but no Portrait Request will
be denied based upon the soldier's or their family's residency.
Therefore, if you are from the United States or it's
territories, you may submit a Portrait Request.
Please submit your request
along with a minimum of three high resolution, quality photographs of
your soldier. Try to choose pictures that reveal the detail of your
soldier’s face. Clear and close-up pictures help the artist capture
their personality and physical characteristics. The images submitted do
not have to be in military uniform. The actual
portrait will be chosen from the submitted photographs at the
discretion of the artist. Online request and photograph submission is
preferred.
If you cannot submit your form and pictures online, you
may print the Mail-In Request Form and mail your submission along with your
photographs to the address listed below. Photographs submitted via mail will
not be returned.
