On Monday, shortly after 10 a.m., one of West's co-workers said she was needed in the small office foyer. In the sunlit room, she saw a man holding a brown package. They had never met. But she knew why Phil Taylor had come. He pulled a canvas, fully painted, from the box. He set it against the wall. As she looked at it, her lip quivered. A hazel-eyed man and brown-eyed boy looked back."
